Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Củ Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers.
Our English-speaking guide will meet and welcome you at Noi Bai international airport. Transfer you to Hanoi downtown (45 minutes) to hotel for check in. Then start to visit the city: beautiful Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shores of West Lake and visit to Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho ( only opens in the morning) , President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house- where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. The next place to move to is One Pillar Pagoda – a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. Back to downtown for refreshment by Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) with Ngoc Son Temple before taking walking tour through the Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It’s a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities.
Departure for Ha Long Bay is around 8:00 AM in a Private car (about 4 hours) from your hotel. Arrive at the port around noon. Welcomed on board, you are taken to your cabin before the trip briefing. You enjoy a fresh and local seafood lunch while cruising to explore the magic Bai Tu Long Bay. Stop for a swim and visit the mysterious cave. Relax at our secluded island-beach. Later you return back to the boat just in time to watch the beautiful sunset from the top deck before enjoying the bay’s freshest seafood dinner. Overnight on the cruise.
Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of Bay’s landscape with towering limestone. You have breakfast at around 8:00 AM before our short rowboat by the locals of the bay. Have brunch on the boat as we slowly cruise back to boat pier. Hit the road back to Ha Noi. Note: The final cruise itinerary is subject to change based on each cruise’s program. You need a late flight on this day. Upon arrival Ha Noi center, our driver picks up and transfers to Hanoi airport for flight to Da Nang. On arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel (20 minutes) for check in and have free time in the evening. Stay overnight in Danang.
Have breakfast at your hotel. 8:00AM Transfer to Ba Na hills (35km from Danang center) and get on the Sunworld Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda. Enjoy a walk across the famous Golden Bridge and admire the panoramic view over the area of mountain and lush trees. Have lunch by your own choices. After lunch, free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with a series of interesting games: 4 - 5D film, skiver, the death race, dinosaur park… Around 5pm, return to your hotel.
Have a breakfast at your hotel. Meeting our driver and transfer to the Da Nang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival Ho Chi Minh, meeting our driver and transfer to the city downtown (30 minutes) to the hotel. Then meet our tourguide and start the journey for the city must-not-miss sites including Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, City Hall, Ben Thanh Market, Nguyen Hue walking boulevard.
Breakfast at hotel and 8.30 AM, you will be picked up and travel past miles of flat rice fields, along a bustling road to the Mekong Delta. On arrival in My Tho City, board a motorboat and navigate through intricate canals while observing the local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on Thoi Son Island where you can listen to Southern traditional music performed by native artists. Next, you will change to paddle boat to cruise through the narrow canals and visit households with traditional occupations of home-based coconut candy and rice-wine making. Continue travel by motorized boat to another island to visit a bee farm and taste tea with fresh honey from the beehives and enjoy fresh fruits. On the return to My Tho, stop to visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a prominent local Buddhist structure built in 1850 with a unique architectural mixture of Vietnamese, Roman, Chinese and Cambodian styles characterized by a highly ornate façade. Depending on your flight we will transfer you without guide to the airport for your flight home. Adios! Hope to see you again soon!
